Active Week in St.Pius X Girl's National School
Back in April we were invited to help to achieve the active flag in a primary school by teaching Bollywood dance workshops to almost every class over three days.
The active week started of with an opening ceremony, where I introduced the upcoming workshops with a short performance.
Already on the walk over from the main school building to the GP hall the students where fascinated by the costume and jewelry. With so many stares and murmurs I have to say, I felt like a superstar.

The class coming to my first workshop of the day couldn't wait to get started, And in the next 30 minutes they were jumping, shaking, shimmying and laughing, until they completed their 45 seconds of choreography.
Over three days i was teaching a workshop to almost every single class in the school. Exhausting.... but so rewarding.
Walking over the schoolyard children were running towards me and greeting me, i saw little groups practicing the moves i have taught them and and showing me proudly how well they remembered.

All in all this was great experience to see the enthusiasm they brought with them to the workshops and to the whole active week.
